About The Role
We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to lead our expansion into the Canadian and US mining sectors. You will be the "tip of the spear" for AMG Industries, responsible for identifying TSX-V and CSE-listed junior miners looking for their next major asset. This is not a passive sales role; it requires a strategic hunter who can articulate complex geopolitical value propositions to C-Suite executives and geologists. You will be selling trust, access, and speed
Daily Required Tasks
Pipeline Generation: Execute a high-volume outreach strategy (email, LinkedIn, cold calls) targeting decision-makers at junior and mid-tier mining companies.
Consultative Selling: Conduct discovery calls to diagnose a client’s hesitation (e.g., security fears, legal clarity) and pitch AMG’s specific solutions (e.g., SPU coordination, Ministry licensing).
Proposal Defense: Draft and present tailored Service Agreements and Statements of Work (SOW) to client boards.
Market Education: Act as a thought leader by sharing our market intelligence reports with prospective clients to nurture long-term relationships.
CRM Management: Maintain meticulous records of all interactions and deal stages in our CRM to forecast quarterly revenue.
What We're Looking For
Experience :
5+ years in B2B sales or business development, specifically within Mining, Management Consulting, or Financial Services.
Network: Existing relationships with Canadian mining executives or capital markets professionals is a massive plus.
Skills: Strong understanding of the mining lifecycle (Exploration -> Feasibility -> Production) and the ability to read/discuss technical preliminary assessments.
Traits: Relentless persistence, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to work independently across time zones.
